Alpha 2026

Here at Falmouth Vineyard we regularly run Alpha courses, as they are a great way to explore the big questions of life and the Christian faith. It’s a series of sessions, and each evening looks at a different question around following Jesus, designed to create conversation. It runs all over the world in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a short film and good conversation!

Who is it for?
Alpha is for anyone who has any questions about Christianity and life in general. No question is off-limits and it's simply an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, informal, friendly and open environment. If at any point you decide Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.

In February 2026, we are really excited to be running the Alpha Course down Penryn on Islington Wharf. The dinner party will take place on the Saturday the 31st of January at the Sail Loft on Islington Wharf. The session will start by watching a short video asking the question - "Is there more to life than this?" There is no pressure to sign up to the course - just come along and enjoy the first evening. The sessions will run on Tuesday Evenings at 7:30 pm - starting on the 3rd of February.
