We recorded the first 4 meetings of Falmouth Vineyard where Ruth and Nathan set out the vision for the church that God has called them to establish in Falmouth. We recognise that some people will resonate with this way of doing church so listen and see if it's something you could join in with.
Extravagant welcome
The first of a four part series looking at our Vision Statement, Nathan, looks at the story of the Prodigal Son. In the story there is an incredible picture of God the father. Standing at the very edge of his property, day after day, looking for a glimpse of his son returning. And the verse whole story pivots on this verse:
"But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms round him and kissed him."
The talk focuses on the question of what a community would look like that took the welcome of God and the gift of grace seriously.
Authentic Community
In the second of a four-part series looking at our Vision Statement, we look at the story from Luke chapter 7 where a lady washes Jesus feet with her tears and wipes them with her hair. What was it about Jesus that this lady felt she could act in this way? What does it teach us about the way we can approach Jesus?
We also consider the quote from John Wimber below and how we are called to be disciples growing in our faith and not living the same year over and over again.
"Come as you are...don't stay as you are."
Finally, an authentic community is real with each other and real with God but it spills out of the church into all areas of our lives.

Empowered and rooted
In the third of a four-part series looking at our Vision Statement, we look the importance and the authority of the bible in all we do as a church looking at 2 Timothy 3. We also look at how we welcome the Holy Spirit in our meetings to empower us to "do the stuff" of the Kingdom.

This talk isn't the best quality as the original recording of the Thursday night meeting didn't work so this recording took place at the United Reformed Church Sunday service on the 17th of June, 2018.
Cornwall Coming Alive
In the last of a four-part series looking at our Vision Statement, on the theme of Cornwall coming alive. When Ruth and Nathan felt God calling them to establish the vineyard in Falmouth, we felt that He gave us a vision – not just for Falmouth, but for Cornwall.
"We would love to see expressions of this church established throughout the County."
What we have recognised is that some people will resonate with this way of doing church. It will feel like home – and we want there to be vibrant, life-giving communities throughout the county – not just one expression that people have to travel to. But small, intentional, worshipping, faith-filled, Spirit-filled, biblically literate communities impacting their local geography.
