The headlines are bleak and for those of us working on the frontline in healthcare it can feel like the day to day reality is even bleaker. But when we serve the God of all hope, who is relentlessly orchestrating the inbreaking of His kingdom, we believe there is another narrative to be heard.
'I realised the stories you hear determine the ones you will live out.'
We would love to invite health professionals, in any role, to a morning with Laura Neilson. Laura is coming from Manchester to share her inspiring story of responding to the needs of the community around her and setting up Hope Citadel Healthcare, whilst a medical student, with the aim of delivering primary healthcare in a new way and seeing transformed communities. Laura also leads the Shared Health Foundation which set up the GP deprivation training scheme, campaigns on changes for families with no home and other initiatives to tackle the impact of poverty on health.
Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
We do not want finance to be a limitation in anyone attending so have creating an optional fee for the event. Free tickets are available or you can choose to facilitate others attendance by paying either £5 or £10 for those that are able.
We so look forward to seeing you!
